OPGT is a foundational element of Oxford's balance sheet strategy. It strengthens our financial position, lowers our overall cost of capital, and gives us access to more stable funding through a broader base of lenders and investors.

Our approach to debt financing

Oxford’s financing strategy is built for scale, flexibility, and resilience. Rated A (low) – Stable by Morningstar DBRS, OPGT provides efficient access to the Canadian debt capital markets through the issuance of senior unsecured debentures that support Oxford’s long-term funding needs.

As a key component of our North American growth strategy, OPGT strengthens liquidity and funding flexibility across the portfolio while optimizing our overall cost of capital.

Oxford Properties Group Trust

We previously issued unsecured debentures through OMERS Realty Corporation (ORC), rated AA (low), Negative Trends by Morningstar DBRS. OPGT was launched in 2025 as our go-forward funding vehicle, and outstanding ORC debentures will be refinanced by OPGT until the ORC program is fully retired.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since 1966, when designers at Letraset and James Mosley, the librarian at St Bride Printing Library in London, took a 1914 Cicero translation and scrambled it to make dummy text for Letraset's Body Type sheets. It has survived not only many decades, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised thanks to these sheets and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker and Microsoft Word including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
